I am a recent graduate from York College of Pennsylvania with a Bachelor of Arts degree in professional writing with a minor in Criminal Justice. During the past few years I have had the opportunity to focus on ways to improve, shape, and master my writing skills. While attending York College, I was a primary contributor to the school Newspaper, The Spartan, where I frequently wrote articles for the sports section. During my final semester I ventured into the area of writting feature stories.
 
While in school, I found several classes key to my professional development, classes dealing with Journalism and Print Media. More specifically these studies helped to identify expected performance standards and instill a code of professional ethics. Practice was applied to illustrate how a professional should conduct themselves in the field of journalism, while interviewing and gathering information. While matriculated at York I took an opportunity to intern with WPMT Fox 43 News Studio in York. While working for Fox 43, I learned how a production media studio operates, it's organizational structure, as well as many details relating to the production of a nightly news broadcast.

Throughout my site, I hope to provide pieces which would portray my skills as a writer, and communicator.
