The following was an adaptation of the classic fairytale: Jack and the Giant BeanStalk. Enjoy!

Jack never minded having any friends, but what he didn’t enjoy was being picked on at school by his fellow classmates. He always thought of his classmates as assholes. Activities like calling Jack names was a common routine, but what Jack despised the most was when the boys made him trade his possessions for crap he never wanted. Crap that would be found on the side of the road, or in the dumpsters. Just the other week Jack brought his favorite Pogs with him for show and tell, but during recess the boys made him trade the Pogs for some rocks they found on the playground. The week before that he was forced trade his favorite Spiderman comic book for a stick of gum that was found on the ground. To top it off, the gum was the gum found in old packs of baseball card. The gum that the flavor never lasted more than ten seconds, and was always stale and as hard as concrete. Jack never enjoyed getting stuff he didn’t want in return, he did it because he knew the boys would find him outside of school.

Jack was on the playground one afternoon when his fellow classmates approached him, and demanded Jack trade them his Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Action Doll for a can of beans one of the bully's mom had packed for lunch. “Hey Dork! Give me the TMNT doll NOW! Here’s a can of beans for you to play with,” the bully said to Jack. Jack quickly handed his favorite turtle over to the boy, and walked away with the can of beans.

When Jack got home, he was devastated that he didn’t have his favorite doll anymore. Him and that doll were best friends, they did everything together. Now he had no one. Jack went outside to sit on his deck, to ponder what he could do. “Just wait,” he thought, “I’m going to go to the gym and get big like Hulk Hogan, and we’ll see if they want to mess with me ever again.” In his right hand he held the can of beans which frustrated him even more. “I should be holding my favorite turtle and best friend right now, not this stupid can of beans,” he thought. Feeling enraged and disappointed, Jack threw the can of beans against the tree trunk, shattering the can, spilling the beans onto the ground.

The next morning Jack looked out the window, and saw something he wasn’t use to in his yard. “Wow,” he said looking at the size of such a creation. Jack walked outside, and saw a giant beanstalk that went as high as his eyes could see. Not wanting to deal with school he decided he would climb the giant stalk. “Mom, I’m not going to school today, I’m climbing this beanstalk” he yelled to his mom. “OKAY Sweetie, she replied thinking he was joking around, “Have a nice day and don’t hurt yourself. I love you sweetie.”

Jack climbed and climbed all morning. It must have been hours, maybe days, maybe years. Jack really didn’t know because his watch had been traded to the bully a month ago for popped soccer ball. After what seemed to be an eternity Jack finally reached the top of the beanstalk, where he found nothing but clouds, birds, and the sky. In the distance he could hear the passing of a Boeing 757. “This sucks,” Jack thought thinking maybe there would be something more.

After climbing back down the beanstalk, Jack decided to go attend school, where he was confronted by a bully. “Hey Geek, what do you have to give me today,” the bully said. “Well, I have something really good for you. You can have it, it’s a giant beanstalk,” Jack responded. "Meet me after school at my house."

After school both boys went to Jacks house to see this beanstalk. Within seconds of seeing the stalk, the bully was amazed. “What’s at the top, where’s it go. Does it reach Heaven? What about the moon?” the bully questioned. “Let’s check it out,” Jack answered back. Both boys climbed, and climbed to til they hit the top, with Jack leading the way. When they got to the top the bully was upset that nothing was there. Jack then grabbed the bully, and jumped off the beanstalk plummeting to the ground. The bully was screaming for help, but who would save him. After 30 seconds of free falling, the bully was noticing the ground was getting closer and closer, Jack knew it was time. Jack pulled the cord to his book bag which opened up to a parachute, and he grabbed on to the bully, making a much slower decent to earth. When they got to the ground, the bully was so happy that Jack saved his life. “Thank you so much, how can I ever repay you,” he asked. “You can start by giving me back my TMNT, and never picking on me ever again,” he said. “Deal,” the bully said. Jack got back his turtle that day, and was never again picked on.
